After hearing so much about AI, I decided to stop watching from the sidelines and actually try it myself.
No experience. No plan. Just curiosity.
Here’s what happened.
🚀 Step 1: Getting Started
I started with ChatGPT.
At first, I didn’t even know what to ask.
So I kept it simple:
- “Give me ideas to make money online”
- “Write a blog post”
- “How can beginners start freelancing?”
The answers were surprisingly useful.
🤔 Step 2: Trying Something Simple
Instead of trying everything, I picked one thing:
👉 Writing
I used AI to:
- Generate a short article
- Edit it
- Improve it
Then I realised something important:
👉 AI can help you create—but you still need to guide it.
💡 Step 3: What I Learned Quickly
Here are a few things I noticed almost immediately:
- AI is fast—but not perfect
- The more specific your request, the better the result
- You don’t need to know everything to start
Most importantly:
👉 Taking action matters more than understanding everything
⚠️ Step 4: The Reality Check
Was it instant money?
No.
Did everything work perfectly?
Also no.
But something changed:
👉 I stopped feeling stuck
I realised this wasn’t about “quick money”…
It was about learning a skill that can grow over time.
🧠 What I Would Do Differently
If I were starting again, I would:
- Focus on one skill (writing, design, or content)
- Practice daily
- Ignore perfection
- Learn by doing
🔥 Final Thoughts
Trying AI didn’t make me rich overnight.
But it gave me something more important:
👉 A starting point
And sometimes, that’s all you need.
✍️ Your Turn
If you’ve been thinking about trying AI, start small.
Use ChatGPT.
Ask questions. Experiment. Try something simple.
You might be surprised where it leads.
